DDLR or Joe Smith there, really. They've been running Salas sorry ass out there nearly every damn game, but we haven't seen Smith as often. Huge moment in the game and he goes to that gascan. Predictable result

Yeah, Smith is certainly a solid option there too. His arm isn't gonna fall off if he's asked to get 1 more out than usual.

How does this bullpen come into games and allow runners to score and once they do, proceed to get the last out after the damage has been done?

Because the barn door still has to be closed...whether the horses are still there or not...

He gave up 1 run through 6......that is a good outing.  To be honest, the bullpen needed to get that out.....this isn't on weaver.

He did put those other 2 on base. That's on him. 4 BBs, that's on him too. Yes Salas is not very good

Salas rocking a 4.76 ERA and 1.94 WHIP

That's good, right?

And that doesn't even take into account the inherited runners he's allowed to score

but hey, lets keep throwing this dude out there almost every game. The MVP of the pen needs to get as many appearances as possible

Why are people blaming Salas? He sucks and everyone knows it... besides Scioscia.

Scioscia's bullpen management is disgusting. Or maybe this is just deliberate sabotage on his part to get Dipoto fired. Using his acquisition during high-leverage moments to blow games.

This game was looking pretty good and then bam, Salas happened.

Though I'm getting a little sick of Weaver basically breaking down in the 6th and 7th innings. Would be nice if the "ace" of this pitching staff could go 7 innings once in a while.

Scioscia happened. Salas being garbage is predictable. Sosh is the one who went to him in that high leverage situation for some insane reason
