Scioscia is such a stupid piece of shit. In his stupidass mind, Smith can only pitch the 8th inning just because. And Frieri can only pitch the 9th just because. Anyone else gets the 7th or before... Nevermind that this was the biggest moment of the game and you generally want your best there during high leverage situations.

Has Salass not allowed an inherited runner to score this year? He'd have an ERA closer to 15 if the 5-6 inherited runs he allowed counted against him.

BTW Grichuk has a .938 OPS so far in AAA.

DDLR or Joe Smith there, really. They've been running Salas sorry ass out there nearly every damn game, but we haven't seen Smith as often. Huge moment in the game and he goes to that gascan. Predictable result

He gave up 1 run through 6......that is a good outing.  To be honest, the bullpen needed to get that out.....this isn't on weaver.
