Your Signature Dishes

Time to brag about your culinary arts. What are the best dishes you make?

 

For me it's:
Cheesecake. I don't make it often since it takes forever to prepare.

Pancakes. I make them Swedish style with yeast. Easy to make but the batter needs to sit overnight.

Jerky. This is my favorite. The marinade is about 10 ingredients and is salty/sweet. Making some as I type.

If there is anything I'm really good at making, I don't do it often enough to remember. So, I think I'm going to have to step aside on this one for the moment.

My peanut butter and honey sandwiches are legendary.

I make a killer fried rice that combines many ingredients. The key is maintaining proper ratios and not letting the complimentary parts drown out the good stuff.

My go to quickie sammich is pretty good.

Pepper jack cheese melted onto a butter crossaint in toaster oven with sliced turkey. Add chilled tomato, baby spinach, and ground pepper.

Tiia hates my family fruit salad recipe, so I pretty much never make it anymore.  I'm making the pineapple sauce for this weekend...

So save some extra jerky.

 

For what it's worth, Tiia's list of dishes is much longer than mine.

Veggie curry chicken in a mushroom soup sauce.

Veggie chili, which is sweet and not terribly spicy.
