I'm just surprised more managers don't call them on it.  Especially now with instant replay.  You have someone in the booth watching video on everything as it happens.

The Red Sox saw it but didn't ask the umps to do anything about it.  So, if he's cheating and getting away with it it's because the Red Sox don't want to bring any attention to guys like Lester and Buckwhatever, both of who were accused using illegal substances last year.

 

As a goof, Angels hitters should go to the plate with a wet-nap in their pocket and ask the umps to have the Yankee/Red Sox pitchers to please clean their hands.
