Ian Stewart kind of has a swing that reminds me of Jim Thome

Except Stewart can't jump on a pitch on the inner half of the plate and can't lay off anything on the outer half of the plate.

He also sucks.

But yeah his swing and stance kind of remind me of Thome

He's had lots of "special training" from the Cubbies.  It's where players go to learn to lose.

1968-69 Tustin Eastern LL for me, but I can't make the same claim.    Skills improved after LL, in Pony League.
