This team can't replace Hamilton's bat so unless the WHOLE pitching staff is absolute nails, the Angels won't even have a winning record.  If Josh heals like he should and on time, he will be back with a little over a month before the trade deadline.  I say if the Angels are like 7 or 8 games out, they trade away Aybar and Kendrick etc and get young and go for a high draft pick next year.  Losing JH for 2 months is huge.

My buddy had this exact surgery approximately 8 months ago.  His thumb is still messed up.

Something tells me he doesnt mind being on the DL.  He had that smile on his face when running back to the dugout.  

 

I hate to be pessimistic but I really think this is another season down the drain.  Considering more than half the lineup has their head up their own ass, we will be pretty bad offensively. 

 

If Richards, Skaggs, Weaver, and WIlson all pitch like aces however, we might have a shot to stay within 3 games when Hamilton could come back.  But we still have the blowpen to worry about.
