our school doesn't have them, either. but our campus has never had much violence at all. we probably haven't had a fight in our jr. high in more than 3 years, and prior to that one, probably another five years. pretty rare stuff for us.

It's a miracle nobody was killed (so far). Reports are that most of the suspect's knife thrusts were aimed at the lower abdominal area or the upper leg. Good spots for a fatal wound, major arteries there.

Okay, I just heard one of the students was "eviscerated" and may not survive. Extremely critical condition.

 

His lawyer described his family life as similar to Ozzie and Harriet or the Brady Bunch (!) I can see where this defense is going. Total insanity, he just snapped for unknown reasons.

 

 

My opinion? The little slasher needs to be put away in a secure cell for the rest of his life.
