I heard him say this as well and almost vomited. Needless to say, I was horrified and disgusted. It is truly disturbing to know he was a Wanker while wearing our uniform. In light of this, I naturally wish him nothing but total and utter failure in the months ahead.

Tact and understanding are in minuscule supply among Yankee fans (and the New York media), and I have a feeling that Vernon will be on the receiving end of their outward shows of adoration pretty frequently this year - much like A-Roid has been.

He mention he wanted to hear people cheering for him instead of yelling things at him from the OF bleachers that he didn't want to repeat. I can't imagine that situation will be better in NY than in Anaheim...
