Eh it's just Ibanez and Calhoun who are sitting.  Not like they were setting the world on fire.  

 

I don't really get why Freese is the cleanup hitter against LHP? What has he proven? Why not Kendrick until Freese proves something?

Although with that said, Stewart should at least be starting for McDonald.  McDonald should be a defensive replacement and nothing more unless Scioscia misses the National League so much that he intentionally wants to see someone swing the bat like a pitcher.
