Arkansas is the team to watch this year. Lot of talent on that squad

And only one HR in the mix!  Rare to see that many runs with so few HR.  Everyone in their lineup tonight has at least one hit already, and 6 have 2+.

Cowarts hands look really quick. Probably better than at any point last year. It would be huge if he regained some sort of prospect status.

Cowart just homered. Having a HUGE day. Four for five with two singles, a double, a home run, 5 rbi's and a walk.

Cal Towey is DH'ing for IE right now and is 2-2. A double a walk and an rbi.

Rondon has reached base every at-bat. 1-1 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored.

 

Update : Cowart with another single. He's now 5-6.

Rondon just missed a home-run.

 

Burlington's Mike Fish went 3-5 with two doubles and 2 rbi's batting from the 3-spot.

Salt Lake, Arkansas, IE & Burlington all got the W's today.

Tonight's minor league games are all looking interesting.   Alvarez making his first start at AAA, McGowin in High A and Clevinger coming back from injury for Low A...

 

http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=p_pbp&pid=605182 Clevinger was an interesting prospect before getting injured, if he comes back strong they likely move him up quicker than usual.  McGowin jumping to High A is a bit surprising and an indication of what they think of him, he's pitched a total of 14.1 innings as a pro...   So, it's a pretty big jump.
