Opening Day loss means nothing

Recommended Posts

I think they said it was his 7th straight OD start.

I thought when they said that, it didn't seem like he had been around that long.

Imagine that guy on a good team.

His 7th total, and 6th straight, according to the Seattle Times:

He's also the first pitcher ever to make 7 Opening Day starts before his 28th birthday.

Not worry about it at all, lost the first game in 02 as well, 5-8 to the Yankees, and the 02 season turned out just fine.

This bullpen won't be able to get away with juicing like the 02 pen did.

Any K-rods waiting in the minors this season?

Seattle has won 8 straight opening-day games, while Oakland has lost ten in a row.

Who's been the better team over the past decade?

Let's win tonight and put last night's ugliness behind us.

Yeah, I was saying I should have put 1000 bucks on Cleveland last night.

I'm thinking maybe 500 for the rain, today.

Felix Hernandez is nasty, especially early in the season.

Be happy you got three runs off him (well, 2) off him.
