Stadiums going to be half empty this year?

I just looked at buying tickets for the opening series.  Its a week away and there are still a ton of tickets left.

From the brief glance, it's odd that tickets are cheaper on the Angels site, than on Stub Hub or Ticket Exchange.

Don't know about "half empty," but sure, people are taking a wait-and-see approach.  Understandable, I think.  The 2nd game of the season is Trout bobblehead night; not many tickets left for that one--but check out the 3rd game of the year against Seattle.  A LOT of available seats for that one.

They released more tickets and now the tickets that I bought a month ago are half the price I paid.  Thanks Angels!

Opening Day tickets have went down.  This is the first year in a while I haven't felt an urgency to have to buy Opening Day tickets because chances are they are going to be available the closer we get.

 

The sad thing is, the game against the Dodgers this weekend which means nothing is more expensive at the moment than opening day tickets.

It will start slow, as usual. But IF they get off to a good start you will see a full stadium by summer.

That was me.  Down 20% since 2012, at around 18-19K this year.

Just wait till they double Obamacare premiums next year. Baseball games will go way down on the priority list. It's already expensive to take the family out to a game.

Season seats usually fall off as a team gets further into a down period, but then pick up at the return to post-season play.

The single game sales should pick up by late spring/early summer, if the Halos are in serious contention for the division.
