And the Mariners and Marlins have the 2nd best records in their respective leagues.

So ya, that record alone is pretty meaningless.

The number of injuries they've suffered is definitely a potential issue for them though.

Instead of the W-L record, I think you can sometimes gleam something from team stats.  Last year the Angels had the worst team ERA in spring, in either league.  Not surprisingly, their pitching was crappy during the season and they struggled.  Perhaps not coincidentally, Texas is dead last in team ERA this spring.
