Gravitational waves. The universe was ripped apart violently in the first trillionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second in time, and expanded faster than the speed of light.

If they only had more of that on the new Cosmos series...they spent half the episode last night criticizing opponents of evolution. Agendas all over the place, and a few little bits of cosmology.
