One of the features that AngelsWin.com really takes pride in is our Los Angeles Angels Top-50 Prospect List. It gives us a chance to do an in-depth review of the entire organization and getting to know all the prospects within the system.

In order to make the list, we travel to several of the Angels’ Minor League affiliates to go and watch the players. Over the years, we have developed relationships that allow us to interview the players and share those interviews with all of the Angels fans.

For us, watching these players develop and grow is a source of pride. We invest countless hours following them, discussing their strengths and weaknesses, and reveling in their successes.

When our Fanfests started to grow, we knew we had to bring some of these players to our events. We wanted you, the fans to get to know them as they were developing so that you could start to follow them and appreciate all they do to make the team.

Kole Calhoun is one of the players we have gotten to know over the years. Long before he made it in Anaheim, we saw his work ethic and skills and knew he’d be a success. The odds of making it as a Major Leaguer are slim, but, the more we saw of him, the more we thought that he’d make it.

If you haven’t had a chance to meet Kole Calhoun, you should. He’s a great guy and a class act that fans should really appreciate. We were very pleased that he once again returned to our Fanfest to share with us his experiences about this year’s camp, his development as a player, and how he’s preparing for this year.

It is too bad the Angels let him play so much in September and he ran out his rookie status. He would be a lock to win it this year by what we've seen out of him so far.

Yep. Agreed. But, I don't care and I don't think he cares. He just wants to play and gives 100% every time out there. It's been a real pleasure watching him mature from a prospect to ML player.
