Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton, yet to play in a Cactus League game this spring, could make his debut within a week. Hamilton strained his left calf during a baserunning drill 10 days ago, and the initial prognosis was he would miss at least two weeks.

I offered to give josh some tips as he walked out of the box yesterday. I will say that Josh hit the ball with authority swing after swing after swing. He hit one over the scoreboard and at least 4 others that would have gone over had he hit them to that part of the park. He definitely passes the eye test! I think we are going to be very happy with Josh this year. VERY happy.
