There is probably a very small correlation if you look at aggregate stats, but when looking player by player it doesn't really help. Not only are players not playing how they would during the year (effort, pitch choice, working on something specific, limited playing time, etc.), but the sample size is just very small. Look at this and see how Angels players did last spring and compare it to their actual season here

I don't think anybody really has a good idea of how Spring Training translates to the season. Certainly, it doesn't show up in the record or statistics but there has to be some indicator of future success or failure in Spring. I think the most important part about ST is just seeing players taking good swings, not getting hurt and showing improvements in areas. 

 

For example, Green is tearing it up this Spring but many hits have came against minor league pitchers. However, he's shown a good opposite field approach and his defense looks improved. You don't have to look at the statistics to see that Green looks a lot more comfortable this Spring.
