Justin Masterson is apparently part of the select few who WANT to stay in Cleveland

Masterson and his agent, Randy Rowley, have made a three- to four-year proposal to the Indians believed to be in the $40 million to $60 million range. They are waiting to hear back from the team.

And if that's true, the Indians should probably take it like now.

That would be a great deal for Cleveland. Masterson has turned into a very nice pitcher.

When Kipnis signed his extension, he talked about how much fun they had last season, and how much everyone liked, and respected Francona. They gelled under his guidance, played solid team baseball, and tasted success...and how they have young players who bought in to the system and are ready for more.

What's not to like?

 

Francona is a good manager. I wish we had him.

That's a crazy offer for Cleveland to not work with. 

He could command as much as 6-7 years for $18-20 million/season after 2014, if he continues on his current trajectory.

Tons of people go to Cedar Point every year , which is almost Cleveland.
