I'm reeaaalllly starting to come around on Aybar or Callaspo hitting out of the 2-spot.

I haven't heard anything from the Angels organization saying that Callaspo was consideration.

Based on past performance, there is no reason to believe that either Kendrick or Aybar will be suitable for batting #2.  And for that reason alone, I have every expectation that one of them will wind up filling the slot.
