Do we have any Survivor-nuts here?   I've been through some hellish training that forced me to dig down deep physically and mentally, but the show never really caught-on with me, because I don't like the "daytime-drama" angle of it. 

 

Anyway, MLB just showed a clip of Marlins team President David Sampson and his "run" on the show..

i try to watch every episode. sampson was pushed into being leader of his tribe, and the guy he exiled led the campaign to kick him off the island. that's what david gets for wearing a brooks brothers blazer on a deserted island.

Who shows up like that wearing a blazer? Guess it better than watching special agent Phillip running around in his undies.

 

Wanted to see David to further. Two complete blindsides to start the season one walks out with an idol. Good stuff.

This show would be much more compelling if they leave them no food but give them one knife, some matches and a canabil cookbook.

IRRC, the first few seasons, they did have to forage for food without tools. That guy Richard lost a ton of weight. And then one group practically starved before JP gave them food.

I just watched the first new episode on ABC on my PC.

They should leave them with one tool and naked.....oh wait, there is a show that does that now and that is a good show (Naked and Afraid).

 

I used to watch it when it first came on many years ago, but I stopped watching after several seasons.  As someone mentioned earlier, too much drama.

The clothing is actually decided for them by the show. It's sad I know that. 

 

I watched the first 5 seasons and didn't watch it again until last season (which wasn't very good). However, I decided to watch last night's episode, and it was pretty entertaining. Mostly because of two big, all natural reasons.
