Scioscia still doesnt understand baseball

Trout should be and will be hitting 3rd once Pujols proves last year wasn't a fluke.  Scioscia isn't ignorant but he is stubborn, especially with aging vets.  Pujols will have to suck for a couple months to trigger any change from Mikey, while Trout leads the league in stranded on base.  Of course this won't happen because Pujols will discover the fountain of youth and Hamilton will learn how to hit LHP.

Sometimes I think Angels fans are overly concerned with Trout's SB totals like this is fantasy baseball.

I'd much rather have him him 2nd and reduce his legs than have him hit first and reduce his bat.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

fair point. But id like to see him turned loose and apply his plus skill set. Same as why I prefer him in center (with bourjos gone).

But mainly, I would prefer he gets the most at bats of anyone.

the reason i wouldnt bat trout 2nd is because he has 2 gidp specialists behind him.  we saw it last year, trout gets on, pujols comes up and gidp what seemed like every single time.  if by some miracle he didnt gidp, hamilton surely would.  at least if he leads off he can make pitchers pay for walking him by stealing 2nd, and i have faith in calhoun to protect him if need be.

We get it marsaka you hate guys that had bad years or in your eyes had bad years. You automatically assume they are worthless and will not rebound despite the fact that there are many instances in baseball where players have bad years and come back and perform well again. You do know that Albert was hurt last year right? Despite facts you allow your feelings about a player determine their worth. In your mind it felt like one of those two grounded into double plays just about every game. This is a perfect example of how your feelings aren't reality. Combined they grounded into 36 double plays, which is slightly higher than one every five games.

I personally would much rather than my three best hitters (and yes Josh and Albert are two of the three best hitters on the Angels, until they prove that last year wasn't a fluke) batting back to back.

A little bit more on the GIDP comment. Hamilton hit into 16 on 636 at bats which is about one for every 40 at bats, slightly less. Albert, who was hitting on one leg hit into a lot. He hit into 20 in 391 at bats or ever 19 or so at bats. So one hit into dp's every 3.5 games the other every 9 games.

You haven't figured it out??????

These people are into fantasy baseball leagues and they are pissed that their success in fantasy baseball is being screwed up by the manager.
