Split CA into 6 states?

Well, this just got the ok to get the necessary 800k signatures needed to get this proposal on the ballot.  Even if it's gets on the ballot and gets voter approval, I don't think it has a realistic chance of getting enacted since it also needs approval by Congress.

Mostly everyone has heard of the wanna-be state of Jefferson. When I was in Chico about 5 months ago at an Oktoberfest I was talking to this girl from Chico about Jefferson, she said her and her boyfriend were all about breaking off away from California and becoming its own state. The I talked to her boyfriend who was all about breaking away from the Union. I figured most of the Jeffersonian people were like him and called them all crazy.
