Red Sox have 8. Pretty nice luxury for a team that won the World Series last year.

The Twins have some immense talent in their system too. Buxton will be awesome. Sano is going to mash. Meyer/Stewart/Thorpe/Berios are going to make a bit impact.

I think Cowart and Green are the 2 guys for the Angels who could make the jump into the top 100 next year.

The Dodgers have a good farm too.  It will be interesting to see if they let their wave of talent break through at the big league level, or trade it all away for established guys.

Interesting read.

 

The Twins, while I don't follow them closely, seem to always go through rebuild periods and then compete for a few seasons, and then start again. They seem to get alot out of marginal type role players, too. Twins fans that I know, are used to the drill, and accept it.

With the new stadium and a new generation of fans, there might be unrest if they don't start having some better seasons soon.

Twins have really struggled to develop pitching. Their strikeout rates among their starters have been hilariously bad the past few seasons. Power arms like Meyer and Stewart should help them get back on track. 

 

They're going to get plenty of offense in a few years. Buxton, Sano, Mauer, Rosario, Pinto, Arcia will be a pretty damn solid group.

55 stolen bases too! And he's a heck of a defender. 

 

Expecting him to become the next Trout isn't reasonable since Trout has set such a high precedent. But Buxton is going to be a hell of a player regardless. He should be a consistent 5+ WAR player.
