Westboro Baptist haters heading to Lakewood (March 2-3)

They have been to Long Beach before..  Back in 2010, all ten of them marched around on Ocean Blvd with their signs spewing their anti-everything rants.  The most pathetic part, is how they drag their children around with them.

 

They got pretty-well spanked-down in the LBC then, especially when they went to Wilson High School.  The young adults there were well-prepared/versed in how the "Baptists" conducted their business.  The counter-protest consisted of students very-closely shadowing the cultists around while carrying their own signs and flags.  The chanting of "Long Beach, Long Beach" drowned them out until they packed-up and left.

 

If anything, I've seen that the appearance of these wackos only unites the rest of us against their "ideals."

The NFL will insure they get their right to protest in a park two miles from the stadium. Kind of like how Augusta handeled the women protesting them not having a female member.

Whatever they wrote about Lakewood High (metal detectors, etc) my kids say is laughably wrong.

I think most people at this time understand these yahoos are more of just a sideshow.
