Westboro Baptist haters heading to Lakewood (March 2-3)

They'll be picketing four churches in Lakewood on Sunday, March 2nd and Lakewood High on March 3rd.

 

Apparently they think it's a gay-friendly city.

This they way I feel about it. Lakewood is not their community, not their county or in their state. Arrest all of them the minute they congregate, put them on a plane back home and let them know next time it is jail.

yeah, seems like there should be some kind of way to prevent them from engaging in such hurtful behaviors at funerals when family & friends are dealing with loss.

 

i like that some communities have taken to giving them a protest area that is away from the family or funeral, but i'm not sure if it's enough.
