I like the bullpen depth without Burnett. With Burnett this pen may actually be an asset to the team.

I like that a lot. Jepsen and Salas essentially become middle relievers and won't pitch as many late and close situations.

Hopefully he won't mind going down to AAA and shaking the rust off because a guy who is expected to be behind the other pitchers should be willing to take some extra time to make sure everything is working and that he is at his best.

 

The last thing this team needs is a RP tinkering with his BS in April when they are trying to win games.

I have a really terrible feeling that there's more wrong with Sean Burnett than is being reported.  The Angels went out and signed just about every LHRP and also have Roth, Boshers, Sisk and Maronde in AA/AAA.  I think they're making plans on playing without Sean Burnett this year.
