He's basically a worse and more oft injured version of Joe Smith.

I don't see the need for him.

He was pretty bad last year..allowed a ton of inherited runners to score.

meh.  there are other similar guys like this still available.  your prototypical guy that throws up a nice year and then takes a dump the next. 

 

I expect JD will sign a couple more of these types prior to spring.

I guess it that time of year for troll posts about fringe players. Neshek has almost nothing for a career and I would bet it will continue that way for a while until no one remembers his career or could tell you when it ended.

i actually thought he was out of baseball. the last time i clearly remember him was with the twins.
