LaGuardia is absolutely terrible. I won't fly into or out of it anymore. JFK and Newark for me. I've changed airlines to avoid LaGuardia before.

Whoops. He misspoke. He wasn't the chairman. He was the ranking minority member. Big deal. He still was in a high position and heavily advocated for Poland's entry. It's not as thought he made that up. He just was confused about the actual position he held when he did that.

Some of the things people find to rag on others are silly.

He didn't remember the exact position he held on the committee at the time of his championing for Poland's NATO entry. He still was on the committee. He was still the chairman at one point. He still pushed for Poland's entry. Him misremembering what his exact title at the time doesn't change anything. The point was that he pushed for Poland's entry. But since he wasn't chairman at the time some sources are making it seem like he made something up. This is not even an issue. There are a ton of things Biden does that are stupid or silly. This isn't one of them.

All well and good, but if a Republican had misremembered along similar lines, there would be wall-to-wall coverage on the alphabet networks, 24/7. Biden gaffes (frequently), and it's a momentary blip.
