As bad as the Cavs usually are, acquiring their 1st round pick for any future season is liable to turn into a lottery jackpot.   

Exhibit A:  Lakers trade Butch Lee to the Cavs for their 1979 1st round pick, which became #1 overall.   That pick?   Some guy from Michigan State by the name of Johnson
