Samsung’s first foldable smartphone is launching sooner than you think This is going to be an interesting one to follow. Is the phone going to be bendable, or completely foldable. And what size is it going to fold out to?

How to tell if your Galaxy Note 7 might explode If i had one of those, I'd return it. But what a weird world we live in, where the battery made in China is the reliable one.

This case is literally an entire Android phone that you attach to your iPhone BTW. I blame @nate Ever since I looked at that post he made in the tech forum, all of a sudden I'm getting all of these phone news stuff. But this one is just bizarre.

Samsung Galaxy X Launching MWC 2017 Will Change EVERYTHING: Flexible Smartphones Are COMING This will be interesting. Although it's been 2 years since the LG G4 was supposed to come out with a flex phone. So not holding my breath. But that they have submitted a patent is a plus. Of course some patent troll will probably sue them for infringing on a patent from an old flip phone.

Anyone install the latest from Google? https://www.android.com/versions/nougat-7-0/ My Galaxy S7 was already looking brand new after I factory reset it (after a year and a half), but the latest update improved my battery life even more, plus added a bunch of new cool features.

My Sister In Law is in the market for a new laptop. She wants to be able to take on line art classes, email and surf the web. From what I've seen the art class is just requiring Photoshop. Any suggestions on "reasonably" priced laptops would be appreciated.

Should I hold out for while longer for the S8 or even longer than that for something down the road in 2017? Honestly, outside of my diminished battery life on my Galaxy S7, I've loved this phone. I've had the S7 for a year and a half now and over time the battery life has gotten worse and worse. It's not entirely a problem though since I have two battery packs that can keep the phone charged for more than 24 hours of heavy usage if I was out and about without a charger. Thoughts?

I expect this to be a very underwhelming announcement...which kind of sucks because I may need to upgrade my phone and cascade my old one because the daughter dropped her new phone in the toilet. And before you start with the Note/Galaxy...I use one of those for work and can't stand it....photo software (planning) and my camera integration is much better on my iphone, and it syncs up with my laptop and ipad.

Anyone excited for this? Supposedly the next big thing. The Microsoft Store in Mission Viejo is going to have a HTC Vive Demo station on April 27nth. Can't wait to try it out for the first time. By the sounds of it, I wont need to interact with real humans anymore. Virtual Reality porn is supposedly better than sex. I think this might solve our overpopulation problem.

Not as impressed as I thought I would be. The bad:Everything from the system itself to the accessories is too expensive.Paywall to play games after a free period until the fall is freaking lame.MK8 deluxe is what MK8 should have been. Make a MK9 instead of insulting all the MK players that bought MK8 with your gimped "battle mode." No excuse at all.No really huge 3rd party stuff. No Madden, no baseball, no sports at launch announced. No Metroid.Show a lot of games but no release dates or what the games are called or any other info.Translation fail.Pitiful storage once again. No 4K or HDR support. No mention of Virtual Console. The good:Reminds me of Wii with some of the motio…

A while back, I took Microsoft up on their offer of a free Windows 10 upgrade for my Windows 7 desktop computer. For the first couple of weeks, everything seemed fine. Everything worked, and while there were some differences in the interface, everything was reasonably familiar. Then the fun set in. First, my mouse pointer vanished. Completely. Common problem, I was assured, that Microsoft was "working on". The only fix that I could find was to discard my wireless mouse and keyboard (Microsoft) and switch to a hard-wired USB keyboard and mouse that I had lying around. That fixed everything for a while. Then I started getting driver-related crashes. Lots of them. Li…

FYI, for those looking to get the Iphone 7. Some interesting options. Verizon is offering a free* iPhone 7 deal, too T-Mobile, Sprint Roll Out iPhone 7 Upgrade Program (TMUS, S) As the Verizon article states. This is kind of like a subsidy program. What I have gleamed from Verizon is, it's a trade in. So whatever value of your phone will be credited, and it may lead to a fully subsidised Iphone 7. My guess is, only the highest end with max memory iphone 6s+ will reach this. Per Sprint, the interesting thing is, they include the Samsung Galaxy s7 and edge. T-Mobile is the one I looked at more closely, since one member of the family has an ipho…

We've been hearing for a while that new computers are coming next year for the teachers. In K-8 we've been using macbooks for the last 7 or 8 years, and they've held up very well. We're switching to the following: Dell Latitude 3350 with Ubuntu 16.04. I know absolutely nothing about it, but our tech guy has pushed for a windows-based system (he prefers linux) for the last few years. We're switching computers because it's time for us to have a newer system for the facutly. We're going with Dells because Macs are simply too expensive, and it appears they won't budge very much on their prices, even though we need to buy about 40 of them, so this comes with a cost factor. …

http://www.eweek.com/security/dnc-email-scandal-shows-what-must-be-done-to-prevent-breaches-leaks.html 1. But yeah seriously don't host your own email server. Just don't do it. No matter how tempting all those hours of headache and misery sound. 2. Email isn't secure no matter what you do 3. If it's sensitive, encrypt it 4. Seriously, are we still using email?

Galaxy S7 To Include Micro SD And Abandon Flatscreens It is notable that the Galaxy S6 was only armed with 64GB storage, and evidently Samsung is attempting to improve the situation. This could be particularly valuable for the next generation handset if Samsung decides to include 4K resolution with the device, something that has been linked with the Galaxy range for quite some time. Sony has recently released the world’s 4K mobile, and the Korean corporation is expected to follow suit sooner rather than later. Should Samsung decide to go 4K with the Galaxy S7, this would necessitate the sort of media that eats up storage space. This would mean that the inclusion o…

Saw this offered at Home Depot or Lowes last week by a company called Sengled. I doubt the sound quality is great but I thought it was a pretty cool idea. I believe you can connect up to 8 to one system. Sounded like something that would be cool for my patio or even in the restroom for my wife while she gets ready in the morning.

Apple’s iPhone 6 Is Set to Break RecordsIf the rumors of a 4.7-inch iPhone are true, then this could very well strike a near-perfect compromise to win over those who enjoy the current 4-inch form factor, and those who want increased screen real-estate (but not too much).
