Nova just got pulled from the game in the 4th after getting shelled for 6 runs. He left 2 on base as well with Chris Davis coming to the plate. It's always nice to see the Yankees get rocked.

Bats: Right Throws: Right Height: 6’1â€ 160 lbs. DOB: 3/3/94 (Orem): .293/.359/.399 with 1 HR and 13 SBs When AngelsWin.com went to Orem to scout the players, there were several standouts. One of those who did was shortstop Jose Rondon. The way he played the game made it seem like he was (as one scout put it) “a man amongst boys.â€ Right now, Rondon is a 4-tool player with the potential to add the 5th tool, power, as he physically matures. Defensively, the Angels have him playing shortstop, where he shows good range. He has a strong, accurate arm, makes all the routine plays and some of the exceptional ones. Offensively, Rondon has great pitch recognition and …

Skaggs unveiled a sinking two-seam fastball, which played a huge part in his success against Houston. "That's what you have to do -- you have to keep your secret weapon in your back pocket," Skaggs said, per The Los Angeles Times. "I don't think any of the teams knew that. I don't even think the Angels knew I had one, honestly." Skaggs said he threw his two-seamer "90 percent of the time" Saturday, as he set up his curveball and changeup. "That's why you see all those 90- and 91-mph [fastballs] instead of 93 and 94," Skaggs said. "They kept swinging at it, so why not get outs early in the count and throw some two-seamers? I threw it in the bullpen and it was good. …

I believe this year will be critical for Albert Pujols. Whether he bounces back and returns to something near his level of production with St. Louis remains to be seen. Whether he can do that and also put up good numbers into his later-30's is even more unclear. Baseball Reference has a list of hitters similiar to Albert through age 33 in their careers. Here are their OPS stats at age 32/33/34 and some years beyond that. (I've deleted Manny Ramirez due to the steroids question.) Player OPS at age 32 33 34 35 37 39 age/retired ALBERT PUJOLS .859 .767 …

Because they don't want to look stupid overcharging for tickets for Friday, I am unable to lower the price on my tickets below a 50% markup. I just wanna get my money back on a game I can't go to and it looks like I am going to have to eat my tickets unless I turn to StubHub. I haven't been wanting to go back to StubHub because it so much easier to just post on the exchange but you are leaving me no choice. And once I get comfortable using SH? Well, that'll simply be where I sell my tickets and then you won't get your cut any more. I predict "dynamic pricing" will be a dynamic turd. The Angels have to artificially prop up the prices so that they don't have to …

Josh Hamilton was named the co-American League Player of the Week on Monday -- along with Twins first baseman Chris Colabello -- after an opening week in which he batted .500 and homered twice. Then, during Monday's 9-1 win against the Astros, he drew a career-high-tying three walks, reached base all five times and hit an RBI single, keeping his batting average at .500 (12-for-24). Hey guys just signed up to this forum but I have been going to Angels games since I was a toddler. I live in Las Vegas and make it to about four or five games every season in Anaheim. This year on Sunday the 13th I'm hosting a big family reunion with about 35 people that we're planning around the Angels and Ducks game that day. We already have tickets for both games but I'm just worried about parking. Our plan was to do some tailgating early in the morning, go to the Angels game at 12:30 then go to the Ducks game across the street at 5:30. My question is do you know of any all day parking spots within walking distance of Angels stadium? I'm worried about being late f…
