Five Take-Aways From Los Angeles Angels GM Perry Minasian’s 2024 Chalk-Talk
By David Saltzer, AngelsWin.com Senior Writer First and foremost, since we are opening the season in Baltimore, if you are reading this article, please take a moment to think upon all those who died on the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Thank you. Tuesday, before the Angels-Dodgers last game of Spring Training, Angels GM Perry Minasian met with season ticketholders for his annual “Chalk-Talk”. The event was moderated by Trent Rush, who did a great job, and asked most of the questions, alth
2024: The long-belayed "taking stock" year (and what it means)
By Jonathan Northrop, AngelsWin.com Senior Writer Part One: The Cycle of Ages - Angels Baseball version After the dead-cat bounce of the post-Golden Era (2014-15), the Angels dipped below .500 in 2016 and have stayed there since, with a .465 Win% from 2016-23, which equates with a 75-87 record. In other words, for the last eight seasons, the Angels have been, on average, a 75-win team. Without going back into it again in too much depth, the Angels are long overdue for a rebuild, o
Angels Cole Fontenelle turning heads within the organization
Ryan Falla, AngelsWin.com Staff Reporter It appears fortunes are changing in Anaheim. Where once was an organization laid bare of any internal development is now an Angels future full of the most young promise they've had since their glory days of fifteen years past. Whereas that legacy run was fueled by homegrown talents so too does this window look to be forced open by the quality of youth across the organization. This years Spring Training has offered a glimpse into the star studded
My Takeaways from Spring So Far
With most of the major player reassignment done, the Angels Opening Day roster is beginning to take shape. While a few questions still remain, I think I've seen enough to feel confident in posting my opinions here. I want to make it clear that I'm not a professional analyst, nor a professional hater. The things I'm talking about here are things I've been seeing and thinking all spring, and as much as I love the players the Angels have I'm an Angels fan above that. Anywhere I see shortcomings o

It’s time we consider signing Trevor Bauer
Amen to that, Chuck! We need that passion and fire up on the mound. The fact that he has the confidence, guts, and temerity to throw that absolutely nasty breaking ball with the bases juiced exemplifies the talent and the will to win that our pitching staff needs. He refuses to back down and is not at all intimidated, but rather he thrives in these situations, always has. He is the one that does the intimidating out there. We absolutely need that type of presence at the front of our rotation. Ba
It’s time we consider signing Trevor Bauer
One of the nastiest breaking balls I have seen in quite some time. It would look good coming out of that hand while the rest of him is ensconced in Angels' red. That fire and passion on the mound, the nerve and hutzpah -- and confidence -- to use that pitch is something this rotation needs. I would've much rather had him starting our first game than what we had up on the mound. It is much preferable to him coming of that mound fired up rather than the guys that we have slinking away trying to hi
2024 home run celebration
I hope it's nothing. It's time to stop glorifying the Home Run. I'd much rather have the batter hit the ball to the right side with less than 2 outs and a runner on 2B, 80% of the time rather than swing for the fences and hit a Home Run 5% of the time, while striking out 30% of the time.

LOL Angeles
A $10-million fund will help immigrants fight deportations. But should it help those with violent criminal convictions? A panel of 50 must suggest how to spend millions for L.A. County's homeless. So far, they can't agree. Nothing like being a Libotard and passing a god damn stupid .25% tax increase, and being a fucking moron and not even have a plan on how to spend it.
Joe Biden
Is it crazy that I might actually vote for this guy if he runs in 2020. Is it crazy that I may see him as the last hope for civility and even compromise? Man, I must be desperate.
