That may be true. But what is also true is that he hasn't had a real, full chance to prove that yet. Perhaps his defensive skills will never be up to par for S-C-I-O-S-C-I-A, but I do believe his bat will play above average at this level.
I do hope he succeeds! |

| He and Wells comprise the Angels power off the bench in 2013. As a DH/C/1B like Victor Martinez, he could eventually have a "full-time" gig but honestly I'd be happy with 67 injury free games where he comes close to his SLC numbers. |
