Anyone else think it's crazy that Teixeira is leading votes for 1B? Or that Nick Swisher only has 92 less votes than Torii Hunter, and all 3 Yankee outfielders are in the top 8?? WTF?

I'd hate to see an infield with 100% Yankees (although it's unlikely A-Rod will catch Longoria)

outrageous how Josh Hamilton is #4 in voting. He hasn't done much since that HR derby and has been injured quite a bit. Can't believe people are voting based on that. Also Granderson at #5 is a joke as well.

Nice to see Vlad leading in DH votes, hope Matsui passes him though.

If anything, Swisher should be ahead of Hunter. Nick is having a great year (and it's not cause of Yankee Stadium).

Tex being first is obviously a joke, but what're you going to do.

Look on the bright side, not a lot of people here want any Red Sox in the the starting line-up and that's probably not going to happen!

Yankee fans are definitely upping the auntie because they want the entire field filled with Yankees.

We're one of their most hated, mostly because our lives in So Cal are so much better than theirs. So their life mission is to make us all miserable anytime their Stankees are in town.

*shrugs* All Star game just ain't my thing.

Matsui does not belong in the all star game anymore than Hamilton or Granderson does.....put as an Angel fan you hope that he passes Vlad to make the game.

Haha touche' but I do agree that Matsui doesn't belong there anymore than Hamilton or Granderson. If that means anything which probably doesn't.

Fans shouldnt be allowed to Vote, its the same thing every year, Red Sox and Yankees get the most vote regardless of preformance.Jeter and Tex are in first and both are having weak years. Griffey is 3rd in Dh votes and has done nothing. Kendry morales is crushing and there is no mention of him. instead of All-Star it should be renamed favorite player game. If it keeps up I might not even bother watching the game this year, the Home Run derby is where its at.

^Exactly! IMO the all-star game isn't even exciting.

I love the HR Derby and am stoked its at the Big A! I'll be out in left field next to the foul pole the whole time!

I prefer to leave it in the hands of the paying public. I doubt if there is a way to make everyone happy. Managers and coaches all tend to be bias.

And btw, all-star participants should be based on some type of stat calculation so that there is no bias.

I haven't started voting yet. K-MO has better numbers than Teix but you KNOW it will be mostly the WS Swankees for starters.

Kendry will only get "shafted" if you think he deserves to make the All-Star team which, as of this moment, he doesn't. He's 6th in OPS among AL first basemen (.838), and well behind the most deserving candidate, Justin Morneau (1.199).

Of course he's more deserving than Teixeira--at least right now--but that isn't saying much.

well, we all got the e-mail urging us to vote for Halos-- so I voted multiple times today -- voted for Kendry Morales, Torii Hunter and Abreu.

I voted for VLAD at DH over Matsui. Would have voted for Junior and think he should be added to the squad. Would like to see Vlad get the nod to start at DH. He deserves it. Angels Stadium fans will give him a Standing O.

Chances are no Halo will be voted onto the starting team. Torii Hunter with the best chance and if he doesn't make it -- he should be added to the teamas the Halos rep. Weaver probably deserves to be named one of the pitchers and our entire bullpen may be asked to pitch batting practice like they've done all season!

Yadier Molina for NL Catcher.
